Half-A-Hill is part of the rich history of Springfield, Missouri dating back to 1919 when it was known as Half-a-Hill Club and Tavern on the White River Trail (now Battlefield Road).
Entertaining locals from prohibition thru the 1970s, Half-a-Hill remained unchanged for decades until the early 1980’s when a flood forced it to be totally reconstructed into a retail center. It is still widely recognized and remembered among locals despite the great change in the landscape of the intersection over the years.
What once was the only retail center from Highway 65 to the Battlefield Mall, Half-a-Hill continues to change and modernize with the times all while keeping the rich history alive. Stop into Bambinos to see more photos or click below.
